FAR 117 Tracker is published by Blue Sky RE Management, LLC. This page explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your flight data stays on your phone.
What we collect
We do not collect your personal information. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of ours that receive your data. Your flights, hours, duty times, and settings are stored on your device and are not sent to us or to anyone else.
Calendar access
If you choose Sync from Calendar, the app asks for permission to read your calendar. It reads events from the single calendar you select, only to find your trips. This happens on your device. The app does not change or delete calendar events. You can turn the permission off at any time in your phone's settings.
Files you import
If you import a calendar file, it is read on your device and is not uploaded.
Content the app loads from other sites
To display its fonts and charts, the app loads fonts from Google Fonts and chart and document libraries from cdnjs, which is run by Cloudflare. When the app opens, those providers receive a standard web request, which can include your IP address and device information, as with any web content. We do not send them your flight data. See Google's and Cloudflare's own privacy policies for how they handle those requests.
Analytics
The app does not include advertising or analytics software. Apple provides us with aggregate App Store statistics, such as download counts and, for people who opt in, anonymous usage and crash reports. Those reports do not identify you to us.
Children
The app is built for airline pilots and is not directed to children.
Deleting your data
Because the data lives on your device, you can remove it by deleting the app, or by removing entries inside the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
